MIM is involved in diverse areas of research and offers consultancy services to industry. The research and consultancy activities in MIM has been gaining momentum in the recent past and has been well received and supported by the industry.

Faculty members collaborate with the industry as well as other academic institutions to continuously add value in their chosen fields. Research at the Institute has been strengthened by the establishment of Centre of Excellence (COE) that centers on specific needs of businesses.

The methodology incorporates Assessment, Analysis, Diagnostics and Recommendations.
