MBA Alumni Meet-Up — 28 September 2024
Haji Abdul Sukhoor Auditorium | Batches: 2021–2023 & 2022–2024
We were delighted to welcome back our MBA alumni on 28 September 2024 to the Haji Abdul Sukhoor Auditorium — an energetic, warm reunion of familiar faces, fresh successes and shared memories. Alumni from the 2021–2023 and 2022–2024 batches gathered for a full day of professional exchange, celebration and campus nostalgia. Conversation buzzed from the moment attendees signed in: career milestones were shared, mentorship ideas discussed, and new collaborations began to take shape.
The programme balanced inspiration with interaction. The day opened with a heartfelt welcome by the Director and a short campus update, followed by a keynote address that connected academic insight to real-world leadership. A panel of alumni speakers from finance, consulting, entrepreneurship and supply chain offered candid reflections on career pivots, lessons from the field, and practical advice for current students. Each panel segment invited audience questions, creating a lively exchange of ideas and networking opportunities.
Hands-on activities and informal formats made the event memorable: speed-mentoring rounds paired recent graduates and students with senior alumni for focused 10-minute conversations; a roundtable on “Startups & Intrapreneurship” showcased two alumni ventures and offered takeaways for builders; and a CV/LinkedIn clinic gave one-to-one feedback. The cultural segment — music, short skits and a nostalgic photo-montage — brought laughter and tears in equal measure, reminding everyone of the bonds formed during the MBA journey.
We closed the day with awards and recognitions: Outstanding Alumni (for service and impact), Young Achiever, and Mentor of the Year. The final half hour was reserved for informal networking over tea — business cards exchanged, mentorship commitments made, and plans sketched for future collaborations. The Alumni Meet-Up reaffirmed the MBA community’s spirit: supportive, ambitious and always ready to give back. We look forward to continuing these conversations and turning today’s connections into tomorrow’s opportunities.
