- Introduction:To drive and instill the habit of reading amongst the management graduates and to understand the entrepreneurial mindset of global icons who have made an exceptional impact globally with their holistic management of the business, people and above making a significant contribution to the growth of people and driving the nation’s economy, MIM organizes an annual biography reading event.
- Objectives:
The core objective of this event are :
- To drive a very strong leadership attribute of reading amongst students.
- Creating a healthy working camaraderie amongst diverse students coming from different backgrounds
- Understanding the nuances of becoming an entrepreneur
- Developing a research oriented approach by researching the biographies, articles, and various blogs.
- Overcome presentation glitches and stage fear & presenting using innovative ways to create a positive impact amongst the audience.
- Summary:
A total of 28 teams participated as part of their preliminary selection process to qualify for the top 5 finalist spot held on 25th May 2022. The event was attended by the students of batch 2021-23 along with their Faculties. The Management team comprising of the Executive Committee members and Board Members attended the event and motivated the students.
- Conclusion with feedback on the program:
The event was a runaway success, with the 5 finalists competing for the coveted grand price, which was won by Section E & Section D respectively. The event gave a much required boost in the morale and confidence levels of students, who turned up in their best and executed their presentation skills. Students developed a positive vibe as far as stage presentations are concerned, giving them the added confidence to take on external management meets. Another key benefit of this event is the over-whelming support provided by the management and in awarding handsome monetary rewards to the winning teams, which further adds on to the motivational boost for the students presenters.

The event gave a much required boost in the morale and confidence levels of students, who turned up in their best and executed their presentation skills. Another key benefit of this event is the over-whelming support provided by the management and in awarding handsome monetary rewards to the winning teams, which further adds on to the motivational boost for the students presenters.

Management Development Program – Dinamalar Group
With a full-house of 34 participants, it was a power-packed 2-day session that comprised holistic learning, involving experiential activities, case studies & role plays focussed towards mastering executive communication, understanding client psychology, negotiations, business story-telling and emotional wellness.
The session served as a gateway for participants to break their inhibitions and network amongst their peers bringing about strong industrial harmony and creating an enthusiastic drive towards achieving peak performance.
In an era of digital disruption and constant change, collaborating the industry with academia is not just another activity, but a critical necessity that cultivates a culture of continuous learning, resilience, and adaptability, and nurtures fine managerial talent.
In conclusion, S.H.I.N.E is more than a training program; it’s a ray of inspiration, guiding the teams to illuminate the path forward with innovation, negotiation prowess, and unwavering excellence. Together, we at MIM S.H.I.N.E brighter, setting new standards of excellence in leadership and beyond.
